Hay Andrew. I was surprised that you brought up mythology. I thought you would have said something like "Aladin" or another Disney classic. I too always found mythology interesting. They often provide some kind of wisdom. At the vary least they're entertaining.

Looking at the empty street,
Covid has done its tole,
missing the thump of a beat,
no one taking a stroll.

At last, a young one walks the void street,
he walks steadily while on his phone.
“Come and buy,” I say,
“And don’t leave me at the tone.”

“Come and buy, we have the latest hits,
Snoop, Drake, Jay Z, Kanye,
Come and buy, all you kids,
try a candy on the way.”

“Come and buy, there’s plenty more,
we got bling and that drip
You won’t find this at your local store,
Come and buy and leave a tip”

My eyes open, rise and shine,
greeted by a golden sun, havin’ a good time.
I bounce and I dress,
brush my teeth with crest.

I walk to the kitchen and ask, “what to eat?”
Father replies, “beans and meat.”
Tortilla in hand, I make a taco,
All this protein makes me feel macho.

When I finish, I give my thankyou kisses,
go to the sink and wash the dishes.
Dry my hands then stack the plates,
I’m in the mood for a few grapes.

One hour till class, I best prepare,
I kick it off with a morning prayer.
Ask for strength for the day,
before coding a nested array.

The clock ticks, open my mac,
Zoom starts, time to hack.
